Shopping Guide In Hong Kong Part 2

My last post of Hong Kong Shopping guide is all about reseller shops and today I will list down the Flag shops.

Understand that Singapore does have AAPE and Bape. But still the things in Hong Kong are definitely cheaper and their stores interior concept is awesome! When I was there Last year November there isn't any AAPE open in Singapore yet so it's was in my to go itinerary.

This bape store is linked together with I.T and there's also bape kids there as well. Back in 2010 before Bape store relocate, they were located at Central besides MacDonald and it's build in 2 or 3 storey high? With a wall of Bape shoes and sneaker but unfortunately they don't allow us to take photos. (They still don't allow though)

I went to both stores and the things that they have are pretty much the same. So if you had tight schedule go to the one at Causeway bay, Fashion Walk. The reason behind is there's a huge ass CLOT for you to take selfie! hahah

I would prefer the store at Prince building then the one at peninsula hotel because their staff is more friendly. However, there was not much size and design for their tees "as always" because they kept those stocks for their regular customer to buy. Which i think is those re-seller bosses cause they wipe out all the stocks and resell in higher prices and so tourist like us couldn't find any size nor design and got to buy in their shops. Which is why i could only find accessories in their stores.

I was hoping to get any past season tees from Givenchy but i couldn't find any not even latest design.  And i was told by the sales personnel that when the new arrival are here people grab it FAST.

Shopping Guide In Hong Kong Part 1

Our Hong Kong Trip was last year November and frankly speaking we did a lot of research on where to get streetwear as there's a lot of reseller there as well as those flag stores like Chrome Hearts, Clot, FIL, I.T and etc. 

 So for high end brands like Givenchy, Alexandra McQueen, Rick Owen, Balmain, Thom Browne and etc could be found at shops like JOYCE; which engaged in many internationally renowned fashion brands.  However, they have many stores and each outlet sells different like for example the outlet in Causeway bay has it but harbour city doesn't. So if you have any specific items in mind just go to one of the outlet and ask them to check which outlet has it.

Now if you're looking for re-seller shop that sells streetwear brands like Supreme, Wtaps, Neighbourhood, Original fake and etc it could be found in most of the reseller shops. However, things to be aware of is that there are so many reseller shop in Hong Kong which one is selling legit or replica items you would need to check before you purchase.

Place where I got my Kenzo pullover! I’ve been looking high and low for that particular tiger head pullover in past season design and it’s in reasonable price as well! It used to have a 8 foot tall original fake display in the shop but is not there anymore however below image is back in 2010 that explain the 8 foot tall .

Lastly, if you really have a tight itinerary you might want to skip all of above reseller shops and head straight to Mong Kok! Cause there’s this place called Trendy Zone 潮流特區. It's located at basement level with lot's of shops selling Jordan, new balance and other clothing brands. I brought my Green glow and new balance there.

Actually+ Boy London Launch

Boy London tide?

Was happy to grab my favourite apparel design before it's all gone. Because the price are pretty decent, Tees are going at $79 and the singlet which they call it "Vest" are going at $75.

Drinks for you while looking through and i have quite a few cups of that!

I love the background so much, it's actually just an A4 size printed paper. Thinking whether should i do that too? Hahaha

Buys from Actually+, manage to found the past and recent volume of Hypebeast over there too.

But they didn't bring in any Boy X Long collections, i like the shirt that G-Dragon wore in the video. And Hell Yeah, I Still think Big Bang bring this up no matter which celebrities also wear it. We have our point of view no matter what we says haters gonna hate, so better save our breath for this.

P/S: I don't own any Aape, That's "A bathing ape" we called it bape or ape, I doubt your sense of fashion if you can mix up with this two. "Cheers for better sense" as you said.

Carhartt Singapore

December is coming some shops already start end of season sales and Christmas's sales! How to save up if the sales keep going on? Not to mention that we visited Carhartt store last weekend, the newly open flag store!

They sell accessories like belts, wallets, pens, Thumb drive and etc.

What we brought: A set of Carhartt stickers. Retail at $7! Really very cheap.

They give 1 sticker with 1 item purchase. So, if you buy more item means more stickers.

My purchase: #1. A carhartt pen retail at $9. It's a ink pen, preparation for my school intake!

#2. Carhartt beanie retail at $49. Second beanie at my wardrobe, well Singapore has a tropical climate which stays hot and humid throughout the year, if you wore a beanie out is a wee bit weird cause you will attract many attention -.- but how to resist i like it so much!

We brought this look book because of the stickers behind! LOOK, stickers of brands they collaborated with! There's NBHD, UE, APC and VANS! That's under Fall/Winter 2012 don't miss it. Retail at $15, but with any purchase it's only at $10.

Bf's purchase: Carharrt's logo printed shirt retail at $69.

Overall, the price over there is quite decent. I expect to be more expensive though! Hahahha but it's a sub brand so what to expect?

Carhartt Work In Progress

But Hypebeast didn't mention about anything of the new flag store at Singapore or i missed out the updates, but i get to know it through Streething. Where to shop at Kuala Lumpur

How was your long weekend spend? Hahah I spend mine in KL, the land of awesome food!!! Beside food there's also many places to shop!

So we took the midnight bus to KL at golden mile, the bus journey takes around 6 hours. I like to take midnight bus cause at night they drive like F1 very fast haha!! So around 5am we reached KL.

My #OOTD for the night ride : #Comme Des Fuckdown # Supreme # Bape #LV # Gstars.

After we check in the hotel, first stop for shopping is a Juice KL (CLOT)! Why JUICE = CLOT, CLOT=JUICE? I have no ideal? Hahaha someone please enlighten me.

Outside juice kl, is located right beside McDonald's. So just look out for McDonald's if you can't find it.

After lunch, we move on to Bien Online  it's located inside loaded Inc. 

That's the display at bien, didn't have much supreme item on that day as the staff says some supreme item they ship to singapore because bienonline is going to have a flag store in Singapore!! Yay, no need to buy from reseller or online, we can simply go to the store and buy. Hope the price are reasonable though! =)

So we done our shopping at bangsar already! And took cab back to Bukit Bintang. So we visited Sungei wang!! Place full of ladies clothes! Something like bugis street, very cheap and affordable. I brought some work clothing over there. Hehehe! So let the girls do shopping over there and the boys can go to this shop call Perverse. Something like ambush but very small, they sell alot of limited clothing, but you got to ask for the price as they didn't put any price tag.
